Preserving photos and family history one memory at a time!

I have to admit, my first scrapbook layout was for a work project and upon completing
my first very plain page, I said (out loud) "Who would want to do this to all their pictures!"

I guess I do.

Scrapbooking has become a passion, uniting my lifelong interests in family history, photography, travel and artistic endeavors into one perfect past time. I have been researching my family tree since high school. I still have my very first research street, neatly written in 10th grade penmanship. In college, I majored in — you guessed it — history and minored in Sociology (the study of group behavior), German (great for travel) and Journalism. Therefore I am very good at writing about the group history of people in Germany. Or something like that.

My scrapbooking credentials include being a design team member for a couple of web sites, being published in trade and consumer magazines several times and my favorite honor: winning last year's scrapbooking sweepstakes ribbon at the Minnesota State Fair. Of course, my layout combined family with history. I rarely scrapbook myself, but I'm the girl in the gold dress in the front row of the 1971 picture:

The little cards peeking out from the photos are "Report Cards" giving a unique journaling perspective on four generations of school kids: My grandfather in 1934, my mom in 1952, myself in 1971 and my son in 1998.

My family, both present and past, are my favorite victims . . . err. . . subjects of my albums. And I'd like to help you preserve your treasured family memories, travels and genealogy as well. Whether it is a few pages or an entire albums or the purchase of a page kit (coming soon!) to create pages yourself, your business is appreciated, as is your confidence in my abilities. Please feel free to e-mail me for a price list.

In my "other" life, I am a graphic artist and marketing coordinator. If you are in need of those types of services for business or personal needs, please visit this page of my web site.
